HMS 1 / 2 - ISRI CODES:

HMS 1 - IRSI Code 200: Heavy melting steel. Wrought iron and/or steel scrap ¼ inch or steel scrap ¼ inch and over in thickness. Individual pieces not over 60 x 24 inches (charging box size) prepared in a manner to insure compact charging.
HMS 1 - IRSI Code 201: Heavy melting steel 3 feet x 18 inches. Wrought iron or steel scrap ¼ inch over in thickness individual pieces not over 36 inches x 18 inches (charging box size) prepared in a manner to insure compact charging.
HMS 1 - IRSI Code 202: Heavy melting steel 5 feet x 18 inches. Wrought iron or steel scrap 1.4 inch and over in thickness individual pieces not over 60 inches x 18 inches (charging box size) prepared in a manner to insure compact charging.
HMS 2 - IRSI Code 203: Heavy melting steel. Wrought iron or steel scrap, black and galvanized. 1/8 inch and over in thickness, charging box size to include material not suitable as No.1 heavy melting steel. Prepared in a manner to ensure compact charging.
HMS 2 - IRSI Code 204: Same as IRSI 203 but max size 36x18 inches.
HMS 2 - IRSI Code 205: Same as IRSI 204 but free of sheet iron or thin gauged material.
HMS 2 - IRSI Code 206: Same as IRSI 204, but max size 60 x 18 inches.


USED RAILS R-50/R-65 FOR SMELTING:

Rails are of type R-50 (51.67 kg/m- Russian GOST-7173-75) and R65 (64.72 kg/m- Russian GOST-8165-75) or similar American standard. Following specifications apply:

a)   Dirt, dust and impurities are not more than 0.5 % of the total weight.
c)   The Goods are free from any types of  radiation, bombs, arms and ammunition,  mines, shell, cartridges, sealed containers, gas cylinders, explosive shell o explosive  materials in any form either used or otherwise as per below.
d)   Tee, girder, and/or guard rails are free from frog and switch rails not cut apart, and contain no manganese, cast, welds, or attachments except angle bars.
e)    Rails are free from bent and twisted rails, frog, switch and guard rails, or rails with split heads and  broken flanges. Continuous welded rail may be included provided no weld is over 9 inches from end of the piece of rail.
f)     Rails are straight. The rail surface is cleaned from alien articles and substances (covers, linings, ties, anti-creepers, bolts, wires and other articles of the upper railway part; dirt, heavy oils, etc.)
g)    Length of the offered used rails is 6 – 12 meters, or cut for any size required by the buyer at an extra cost.

Chemical Composition of material:

• Carbon                  0,2% -  0,90%
• Manganese            0,60% - 0,90%
• Silicon                   0,15% - 0,35%
• Sulphur                  0,05% - Maximum
• Phosphorous          0,045% - Maximum
• Iron                        Balance

The minimum quantity of each in bulk is: 30.000 MT x 12
The total quantity is approx. 5-10.000.000 MT per year.

B. IN CONTAINER /THE SAME PRODUCT AS IN BULK/

The minimum/maximum quantity of each in container is: 500-5.000 MT x 12, usually after trail shipment.
The total quantity is approx. 60.000 MT per year
